And last but certainly not least, Harlem Candle Co., a luxury home fragrance brand specializing in scented candles inspired by the richness of Harlerm, in New York City.
We met Teri Johnson, founder of Harlem Candle Co. in 2018 at the Architectural Digest Design Show. The booth was alluring with Billie Holiday portraits and upholstered navy blue velvet furniture. Once we burned our first candle we were hooked! The packaging, scents, and story behind each candle honoring a Harlem Renaissance man and woman, in the 1920s and 1930s, was a comfort we didn't know we needed.
